Our condolences to the Trenton High School Community along with the COSSA Wrestling Community. Tom Nigro passed away today after a stroke last Friday. Tom was a Bay of Quinte Secretary/Treasurer, as well as a COSSA Secretary/Treasurer and OFSAA rep during his time at Trenton High School. He is well known for his football coaching career, but will be best remembered as a Wrestling Coach and mentor. Tom continued to coach and help out with sporting events at the Bay of Quinte and COSSA levels after he retired and played an instrumental role in bringing OFSAA Track and Field to Belleville in 2002. His good nature and hard work will be missed by everyone who knew him.
