Leslie served on the COSSA executive as the Secretary/Treasurer and CGA Rep to OFSAA as well as several roles on the Kawartha Executive over her many years in education and coaching. COSSA is pleased to welcome student-athletes, coaches, parents and fans to another great year of high school athletics.  From the gymnasiums and fields to the ice rinks and pools, COSSA athletes and coaches will be competing for their schools in many different sports  over the year. Leadership in Sport Award Winner!

Congratulations to COSSA’s own Tara Feeney of Trenton High School.  At the 2023 OFSAA Wrestling championship, Tara was presented with the Leadership in Sport award for wrestling by Dan Foley.  This is a well deserved recognition for all Tara does in sport and in particular in wrestling.  Congratulations from all of COSSA, Tara!

Sad News from Trenton High School

Our condolences to the Trenton High School Community along with the COSSA Wrestling Community. Tom Nigro passed away today after a stroke last Friday. Tom was a Bay of Quinte Secretary/Treasurer, as well as a COSSA Secretary/Treasurer and OFSAA rep during his time at Trenton High School. He is well known for his football coaching career, but will be best remembered as a Wrestling Coach and mentor. Tom continued to…
